How I feel about school right now

Procrastination is the reason why I'm awake at 2am trying to complete an essay. There's really nothing new about that. For some reason it takes so much effort to concentrate and write just a single paragraph! Well if I didn't have to cite every bloody thing I wrote I'd probably be done a whole lot faster. Having about 10 windows open, with 9 tabs on each window is happening right now and I'm so annoyed but nothing can be done till I finish this. Ugh! I really don't want to write it.

Personal training session with Darren + OOTD

Finally had a real PT session with Darren and I've to say, I'm proud of myself for accomplishing it. Working out at the gym seems to be better because I'm more focused compared to working out at the park. It's distracting when the personal trainers at the gym walk around bare-bodied O_O because it makes me feel a little self-conscious about my severe lack of physique (lol) but at the same time, it spurs me on because I'd do anything to get a toned and flexible body back and it's motivating to see that at the gym itself. Apparently, the trainers are eye candies for all at Tanjong Pagar ☀

Do hire Darren Stephen Lim to be your personal trainer! He's able to design a personalized workout routine according to an individual's needs, with real results if you follow through. I can testify to that as I begin on this journey to wellness!

The food we had after working out hahaha! It's definitely not advisable if you're trying to lose weight and are on a specific diet because of the high salt and oil content... But because I'm not, I can indulge. It's tough for me to explain about working out and dieting because I'm not a professional, but I've been reading some fitness articles and watching YouTube videos of fitness professionals/models so I do have some background information regarding such things. I'm using all these information to my advantage of course.

For some reason, I'm extremely motivated to get my body and health back in shape as I age. No amount of clothing, bags, or shoes can make me feel as good as a toned, healthy body! #mature

Bought these babies the same day I went to the gym. My two pairs of cheer shoes gave way awhile back and I didn't have anymore sports shoes so tadah! Those cheer shoes have served me for 5 to 7 years respectively and I love them with all my heart :')

This is one of the latest Nike models and they're so comfortableee. It comes in a range of colors and I couldn't decide between 3 designs but according to the store assistant, this can be worn for training outdoors as well as indoors. Because of this, I'm now a member of the Nike store so hopefully I'll get to use the membership discount often! I ♥ Nike.

On a random note, I haven't been shopping compulsively like I used to because I'm trying to switch up my style a little and this has given me the habit of thinking reeeally carefully before I purchase something. It's such a waste of money to buy something expensive, wear it only once (or not at all), and it never sees the light of day again. By thinking carefully before purchasing something, I saved quite a bit of money which will go towards my wardrobe overhaul once I actually have the time to shop.

This week has been insane. Then again, which week hasn't?

So much drama at school that just wore my brains out. I really dislike people who go all out to get people's pity, and then feed on it for as long as possible. This tactic doesn't and has never worked with me so instead, this cow stooped to an all-time low by trying to lie and deceive her way through. Well good luck to her in life.

On a much MUCH happier note, my best friend, Anna, and I have been meeting often and having her to talk to makes everything so much better. Maybe I just needed to talk and talk until the anger dispelled, poor her.

Wouldn't say I exceptionally like the ramen but the scoop cake was really good. Note to self, ask for lesser ramen noodles next time so I can actually finish the cake!

So I shifted my iPad, and she decided to shift too. Still within staring range of course. She was probably scared I was going to just disappear because I was already dressed to go to school and she knows it whenever I'm dressed to go out.

Taught my helper how to cook Korean food. It may not be all that authentic because I came up with how to cook these things myself with the help of pastes and sauces, but it's still delicious and different from the usual home-cooked fare.

Never was a fan of scallops but I cook them pretty well I'd like to think! Okay fine it's super easy to cook.

Gave her some emergency food in a tin because her dried food was running low, and she refused to let go of it after licking it clean. She walked around with it in her mouth and didn't want to let anyone throw it away. How ridiculous can she get?!

Ugh my outfits have been so originally boring now that I look at them again. When I lose the zest for life, I lose the excitement to dress up. School has been doing that to me.

Am painting my nails now while doing some research due next week. My nails are a mess and this's why I hate painting my own nails >:-/

Life on Instagram #3

Continuing to upload Instagram photos instead of normal camera ones is just taking it for granted. But I've been so out of touch with my previous life (of idling time away) that a quick snap on Instagram is all I can afford :'(

Been so busy with school stuff, especially the most ridiculous 'group mates' for project work. I don't want to go into too much detail as I might rage on, but let's just say these people truly do not belong in a university. They ought to go back to kindergarten where their mentality and level of responsibility is. Don't worry I don't talk behind their backs, I say it to their faces because there's no reason why I've to hold it all in while they get away with everything. #mature

Anyway, through this trying period (lol), it feels really good to be able to constantly complain to my parents on Whatsapp. Even if daddy is busy at work, he'll bother to reply and try to help resolve problems. When dad's home, mommy takes over that job of entertaining my sister and me whenever we rant. We reward our responsible parents with photos of Sundae haha! They miss her soooo much, more than they miss us... Anyway, I'm talking about this because mommy made this cute reversible dress for dear Sunsun.

Yes, mom has taken up sewing so it's normal to receive calls/Whatsapp messages from her at random times of the day asking for measurement of Sundae's waist and if she has put on any weight. If I'm home, I'll whip out my measuring tape and Sundae would automatically lie down. It's too cute a scene.

This honey badger thing came about because dad sent my sister a link to this YouTube video showing this honey badger who does not care about anything at all and just does whatever he likes, like eating a snake. He said it's like Sundae hahahaha!

Recently used up the aromatherapy essential oils mom bought so I went on a hunt for new fragrances. She got them when she went to a spa in Phuket so sadly, I wouldn't be able to purchase the exact same ones. They smelled really divine. Ordered stuff off Bath and Body Works but that takes awhile to arrive and me being me (read: impatient), needed to buy it asap.

Tried looking at L'occitane and Crabtree and Evelyn but they don't carry essential oils at all which's pretty strange considering how they specialize in fragrances... Ended up with these Body Shop ones which I was iffy about, but turns out they're not bad. The quality doesn't seem to be as good as the ones mom bought from the spa but at $10.90 each, I shouldn't ask for much.

The store assistant recommended Fire Lily and Amber because I asked for a resort-like scent. It's a woody kind of scent which kinda goes with my woody home. Relaxing and not overpowering. I chose Jasmine and White Frangipani for my room, which I couldn't stop smelling because it reminded me of a perfume and is quite calming a scent. I hate sweet/overpowering scents because my nose would itch and I'd have a headache so I'm happy this was neither!

My BFF4LYF is back from the desert after half a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy about this. We can actually discuss life face-to-face. No more broken Skype calls because she's walking home from school and Skyping at the same time. No more trying to summarize stuff on Whatsapp to get the message across. And yes to good food because she thinks of herself as a food connoisseur. Okay maybe only when it comes to home-cooked food which she's an expert in i.e. knowing which grocery store to buy snatch basil leaves at, guiding me through the process of cooking a dish though she's halfway across the world.
