Visit Cottesloe Beach

There are so many beaches in Perth that it doesn't really matter which I recommend because they're probably all beautiful. I'd really love to live by a beach. Why request for a pool in the house when you can have a beach at your doorstep?! Not to mention those dashing Australian surfers riding the waves...

Of course you gotta have fish n chips whenever you're near a beach

The slope and my awesome photography skills made my parents look like midgets :o

You can view more of Cottesloe in my vlog so do check that out if you're interested. There's a surprise performance in it by yours truly.

I've been meaning to do a haul video but all I'm doing is sleeping/eating/buying more things! Winter just makes shopping so much tougher especially since I'm wearing boots most of the time and it's a hassle to take them off and put them back on. But I will persevere and press on for the sake of having pretty clothes for the next school semester.

Mode: Hibernation

It's winter so that's definitely an excuse to be hibernating amongst 5 fleece blankets and 3 layers of pajamas. I believe it isn't just me who goes into hibernation during winter right?

Story: It was winter in Arizona. I hibernated for 2 days and 2 nights. Only woke up to use the bathroom once and went straight back to bed. Dad tried to wake me up for dinner the first evening but I didn't move so he gave up. Parents and sister went shopping the next day. They came back at night and I was still in the same position. Only then did my mom suggest to check if I was still breathing.

Anyway, I'm pretty proud of my first official vacation vlog because it took effort to edit. Was so afraid the video and audio would be out of sync and blah blah editing issues.

Here's what I did my first week in Perth and I'm so happy I decided to spend my entire school holiday here. Really not looking forward to going back to Singapore as usual.

Am hoping to film and upload a haul video next if I get out of bed...

G'day to you!

Strawberries+Banana Smoothie Recipe

Recently attempted blending my own smoothie instead of queueing at Boost Juice and loved the taste of it. Never knew it was this simple to make and now I'm going to share my ingredients list. It will be easy even for the laziest person, trust me on this because I'm the laziest person I know.

Ingredients:
4-5 fresh strawberries
1 banana
1 cup of low fat milk
1 tablespoon of low fat yogurt
1 tablespoon of organic honey
1 tablespoon of low-fat vanilla ice-cream
Ice cubes

Blend them all together and ta-dah! A delicious and pink smoothie ready to go. This is definitely better than plain milk as a breakfast drink.

I may try to substitute the fruits next time. Peaches, apples, oranges all sound like delicious alternatives. Mom is intent on making orange julius because she and daddy used to share this drink on dates and it's her absolute favorite. Shall wait for her to make it for me!
