G'day from Australia!

So sleepy right now but I'll pull through and finish this entry before I forget all about it.

HELLO FROM AUSTRALIA AND I'M SO HAPPY I'M ON VACATION! Plus Mommy has made the house lovelier to live in. Scents and candles in the bathroom, living room, kitchen, every room basically. And daddy bought so much food, the pantry is stocked but I'm really too lazy to cook anything that's not steak.

Daddy made sure my fav apple juice was in the fridge before I arrived <3

I ate breakfast (big surprise I know)

On the way to a mall! I was bored and falling asleep okay

RED ROOSTER FINALLY OMG SO GOOOOD

Salt and pepper squid

Donuts cost about 3AUD each here :-/

Shopping begins!

Home sweet home

HAHA I look like a pink squid every night

Mom's choice of PJs for me

Last snack of the day

Can't imagine my first meal here was McDonald's. It was too late and nothing else was open, sigh.

And on a hilarious note, I forgot to bring the charger for my camera. I mean, WOW. But luckily for me, dad has 2 new cameras here (Canon yay!) so I'll still be able to take photos. Really can't believe I didn't pack the charger...

Alright desperately needing to sleep now and it's only 11pm.

Tried and Loved: Your Woul

He's carrying a carton of milk because this big man needs his milk. 'Nuff said.

Pearls and Chain Necklace: Forever21
Hobo Bag: Forever21
Milk: NTUC
Flats: Non-existent thanks to Darren's photography skills

Had a dinner date at Your Woul and asked myself, why did I waste my life dining at Seoul Yummy when Your Woul was just a short walk away from the same train station (Novena). I don't know how to walk there because I took a taxi but I know it's really near!

It is one of the best Korean meals I've ever had in Singapore! Nothing compares to the one in Arizona but beggars can't be choosers.

Address: 165 Thomson Road, Goldhill Centre
Opening Hours: 11.30am- 2.30pm, 5.30pm- 10.30pm

 Hotpot with mushrooms and pork

200g of marinated beef short ribs

I really didn't like the noodles in the soup but thankfully, hungry Darren got rid of them. Was feeling so so stuffed after dinner so I wanted to have ice-cream!!! That does not make sense now...

Cheap humor

Green tea and rum raisin

Double chocolate and double chocolate
(I have the lamest boyfriend?)

Horrible couple photo but oh well

Whenever I don't update Facebook/Twitter/Blogger/YouTube/Instagram for awhile because I'm busy, once I log in to those social media websites, it feels as if I dropped off the face of the earth for those couple days or weeks. Even to myself! And sometimes I can't even remember what I've been so busy with. Note to self: eat more gingko nuts and eggs and walnuts.

Hello freedom!

I made a YouTube channel mainly because I'm going to try vlogging, but I also realized it's such an easy way to do OOTDs! Funny thing is I don't get views for my vlogs :(

Maybe when I'm old and 60 I'll watch my own vlogs. Vlogging is such a good way to remember what you've done especially if you've a memory span of 3 seconds, like me.

So excited for this long-awaited vacaaayyyyyyy! And please subscribe to me since I've already shamelessly asked y'all to do so :D

Bye Sunday

Kinokuniya was having their 20% members' sale this weekend so I finally got to get out of the house far far away from my books! Hmm that's ironic.

Denim Shorts: Forever21
Black Bag: Cotton On (in Australia)
Black Flats: Rubi Shoes
Necklace: Forever21
Watch: Fossil

My hair was slightly wavy because I tried curling my hair and failed miserably. I've forgotten how to curl my own hair when I used to do it on game days in high school! Many many years ago ha. Not to mention it rained just as we were about to leave home so my hair went limp, sigh.

Judging from puffy eyes and eyebags, we're both seriously sleep-deprived, overworked, and super stressed ARRRGH. Okay back to textbooks :'(

Study Break

Haven't updated here in awhile because my exams start this coming Wednesday, and I haven't done anything much besides bum around at home. Can't wait to get these damned exams done and over with so I can get out of this damned country for a vacation I need.

And I haven't gone shopping in the past month or so in a desperate last minute attempt to save moolah. Life kinda sucks right now. UGH!

Friday Night Fright

On Friday, Mel and I met for dinner! Seems like we don't do anything else but eat. We went to Serangoon Gardens and walked around because neither or us could decide on anything, and I was saying no to many things haha! Found this new cafe called Chillax and decided to give it a try because we're such trendy hipsters.

 Black Truffle Capellini

Bangers and Mash

Truffle Fries

The total came up to about $53 and to be honest, I feel it wasn't worth it. Our orders really did not appeal to my taste buds at all. I had Bangers and Mash and only finished the dark brown bratwurst and mashed potatoes, leaving the rest on my plate untouched because I really didn't like the taste of the gray looking bratwurst. The truffle fries were dead (and tasted like MacD's fries, no truffle, according to Mel) and if there's any snack I hate, it's dead fries. Apparently Mel's pasta wasn't that impressive too :'(

Chillax looks really nice and probably is a great place to chill and have tea during the weekends but I'd think twice about returning.

Then we sat around because I couldn't decide where to go after, so we went to Coffee Bean. The amount of sugar I consumed that evening was amazing because during dinner, I had a cup of bubble tea already.

Ended the night having drinks at Sidewalk Deli which was so stuffy I died. Mel ordered a beer and kinda drank just the foam while I ordered an Italian Soda and felt like a diabetic ant after. It was one of the more random, do whatever evenings we've had but it's always nice to hang out and catch up on the most nonsensical things in our lives.

Till the next date!

Happy

Just had dinner awhile ago but looking at photos of food always makes me hungry. #firstworldproblems

I love it when Darren and I spend time together, when he's not being Mr. Grumpy. Had dinner at Wa again on Monday and it was bliss, mostly because Orchard was kinda empty and I was starving. We really need to find new places for food.

 My piggy companion at Wa.

This man needs a tan.

Even though my boyfriend is such a busy man, I love him for making time for me :-* And Sundae too!
