Snippets II

Hi guys! I'm slowly recovering from my stomach bug (it has been weeks of agony omg) so life hasn't been too good. Have been busy with going to school, preparing for school, and getting life organized. What's new? It seems like with every semester that passes by, I feel more relaxed or rather I don't really care but at the same time I'm determined to do well because I've no excuses not to. I'm not even working like some university students are... All I've to do is turn up for classes and actually go through the readings.

Easier said than done even for such a simple task.

Spam of iPhone photos ahead!

Where's Darren?

Geisha having dinner

5 for $2 yay!

Some monthsary I always forget until the day passes

There was a period of time I couldn't stop eating at Sushi Tei, all for the sashimi salad. Think I'm over that phase now given my stomach condition...

For Halloween, I was myself.

When D left for his trip, she did this. How needy is this dog?

Wild Honey's with my cousin and aunt. I think this was the Tunisian breakfast, they both had the English breakfast. Both weren't that great and I wouldn't go back unless necessary.

My new French maid

My friend sent me this and I laughed when I saw it. She shared it on our group chat and first thing everyone asked was where did she even get this from. She said the school sent us all an email and obviously nobody checked it haha! Anyway, all these rules are ridiculous imho.

My very nice sister got me a Lush gift box as a belated birthday gift and I was sooo happy because she just dropped it on my bed once I woke up. The smell of Lush products is always inviting! But I don't mean the store because I can smell it a mile away and my eyes go all watery when I'm inside.

I'm in love with all the Fall candles at BABW right now. Trying to stock up as many as possible before they get discontinued. Also for body washes, do try the aromatherapy line of body gels and get the ones for Sleep and Stress Relief. I don't have a photo of them because they're sitting in my bathroom but the Sleep one is made of lavender of chamomile (wish I could smell this the entire night) and Stress Relief is eucalyptus scented.

When D came back from Thailand...

Pictures speak for themselves

The doctor told me to stick to plain foods. I'm not complaining because I love anything soup! But the gastric discomfort and all is pretty painful to deal with everyday.

Swatching MAC blushes at Sephora for my sister because she was too busy to go. (Why is it I'm so free when it comes to things like that?!) Got the one on my wrist in the end because she wanted a peachy color, I think it's called Melba? It looks really pretty in real life. Great thing was Sephora had a VIP sale and 20% off storewide! Naturally I had to go and stock up.

Cornery is located at the basement of Ion Orchard. I love Tom Yum and Sour Cream and Onion. Bought this much because I was going to a house party, if not I would've died of nose bleeds by now.

Eye Spy

I'm on a roll! Here's introducing my humble collection of eyeliners that I currently am using. My MAC liquid eyeliner isn't here but it's alright because I rarely use it unless I'm partying. It's a little too harsh for daily use, I personally feel.

Dior Kohl Pencil Liner: Bought this from duty-free at the airport when I was traveling, only because my previous drugstore liner was running out. Now that I've found better liners, I really don't like the texture of this.

Bare Minerals Liner in Espresso: Love the color and great for day wear. However, the retractable function sucks because it sometimes just glides back in while I'm using it. Smudges easily without primer so definitely not waterproof like the lady at Sephora said.

Too Faced Liner in Perfect Black: Fav of the bunch! The color is a matte black and application is super smooth. It is waterproof so alright for day wear and nights out too. This was from Sephora as well.

After years of trying out eyeliners since high school days, I remember Physicians Formula to have one of the best pencil eyeliners but sadly that isn't available here. The Too Faced one definitely measures up because it's equally smooth-gliding, which means no tugging of delicate eyelids hurray!

The photo above is really random but I was so impressed by the fact that I actually finished using it to the last drop, especially since I've a new bottle of Sephora's makeup remover just waiting around. Usually when I buy something new, the old one gets left behind. That's really wasteful so yay for finishing up products and reducing wastage!
