Strawberries+Banana Smoothie Recipe

Recently attempted blending my own smoothie instead of queueing at Boost Juice and loved the taste of it. Never knew it was this simple to make and now I'm going to share my ingredients list. It will be easy even for the laziest person, trust me on this because I'm the laziest person I know.

Ingredients:
4-5 fresh strawberries
1 banana
1 cup of low fat milk
1 tablespoon of low fat yogurt
1 tablespoon of organic honey
1 tablespoon of low-fat vanilla ice-cream
Ice cubes

Blend them all together and ta-dah! A delicious and pink smoothie ready to go. This is definitely better than plain milk as a breakfast drink.

I may try to substitute the fruits next time. Peaches, apples, oranges all sound like delicious alternatives. Mom is intent on making orange julius because she and daddy used to share this drink on dates and it's her absolute favorite. Shall wait for her to make it for me!

Days of Christmas '12

I've one last essay due next week but instead of working on it, I would prefer to update this space with Christmas photos. I seriously dislike festive seasons because it just means crowds of people being out and about all at once and it's not a fun time. But Christmas is different because it's that time of the year you can go crazy shopping and show your loved ones just how much you love them. You get to shower them with gifts and see how happy they are to receive them. And of course the amount of food you get to eat.

Usually my parents host Christmas parties every year for the entire clan. There would be roasted lamb, beef, ham, meat, meat, meat. I miss my parents! Well because they're not around this year, I just had Christmas dinner with my sister and Skyped with my parents so it's like we were eating together.

Mommy wouldn't allow us to do this last time hohoho

Christmas Steamie with Friends

Just like last year, I had a Christmas steamie dinner with dear friends. This time round there were more people. Yay!

Love love

After dinner, we decided to find somewhere to play Left 4 Dead. Seriously hate 'spawning' which means playing the ugly zombies, so I took photos of the intense gaming that was going on.

Christmas Date

It's very seldom Darren and I go on dates because he's so busy, so I really appreciate it when we're able to even just have dinner together. Though it's after work and he's still in workout gear and carrying that annoyingly huge backpack.

I love Massimo so so so so so much

That red paper bag contained all the new clothes I bought in the span of a few days. I know I need to stop. And the rest of the bags were Christmas gifts all wrapped up. I love Christmas!!!

LOVE this gift I bought myself

Christmas Day

Darren and I had a quick bite before dinner time. He was having dinner with his family and I had to go home to cook. Settled on Swensen's because it was crowded everywhere and I seriously hate Swensen's. Anna and I actually met up for a Christmas meal there as well (for convenience) and the food was rubbish. They also removed hazelnut ice-cream off the menu. Why?!

Sisters 4 Life

Ending this post with more gifts. Look at the amount of sweaters I bought! Probably went crazy during a period of time the weather was actually cold here.

These weekdays

This week has been insane. Then again, which week hasn't?

So much drama at school that just wore my brains out. I really dislike people who go all out to get people's pity, and then feed on it for as long as possible. This tactic doesn't and has never worked with me so instead, this cow stooped to an all-time low by trying to lie and deceive her way through. Well good luck to her in life.

On a much MUCH happier note, my best friend, Anna, and I have been meeting often and having her to talk to makes everything so much better. Maybe I just needed to talk and talk until the anger dispelled, poor her.

Her recommendation: Tampopo Deluxe Black Pig (lol) Ramen
Her recommendation: Scoop Cake (YUM)

Wouldn't say I exceptionally like the ramen but the scoop cake was really good. Note to self, ask for lesser ramen noodles next time so I can actually finish the cake!

I'm cute and I know it
I'm cuter, right?

Sundae is seriously... I was watching a show and she just plopped herself there. My sister walked in and snapped a photo. Are all dogs like this? Do leave a comment and let me know.

I'm prettier, right?

So I shifted my iPad, and she decided to shift too. Still within staring range of course. She was probably scared I was going to just disappear because I was already dressed to go to school and she knows it whenever I'm dressed to go out.

Watchdog fail

Taught my helper how to cook Korean food. It may not be all that authentic because I came up with how to cook these things myself with the help of pastes and sauces, but it's still delicious and different from the usual home-cooked fare.

Panfrying scallops in butter and ground black pepper
Sister's portion

Never was a fan of scallops but I cook them pretty well I'd like to think! Okay fine it's super easy to cook.

Gave her some emergency food in a tin because her dried food was running low, and she refused to let go of it after licking it clean. She walked around with it in her mouth and didn't want to let anyone throw it away. How ridiculous can she get?!

Outfits of the Weekdays

Got a shock realizing everything is from F21
iPhone 3 (sigh) VS Canon camera
Presentation day
'Nothing to wear' day

Ugh my outfits have been so originally boring now that I look at them again. When I lose the zest for life, I lose the excitement to dress up. School has been doing that to me.

Am painting my nails now while doing some research due next week. My nails are a mess and this's why I hate painting my own nails >:-/

Have a great weekend y'all!
