Brunch on Sunday was a success! The weather was freaking me out at first when I was preparing to leave home but it was pretty nice the entire day.
We visited Canopy located at Bishan Park. It's a pet-friendly cafe/restaurant so maybe Mel and I will bring our furry sisters next time. Food was not bad and overall it's just a very peaceful place to hang out on a lazy Sunday. Kept the receipt so I could list the prices more accurately here.
Mel's: Detox $12
Mine: Pepsi $5
Mel's: Crabmeat Aglio Olio $19
Mine: Lobster Pomodoro $19
The portion of pasta was more than enough. Couldn't finish mine but if I was really hungry I would've. Texture of the pasta was just the way I liked it, not overcooked, and the sauce was tasty. Well worth the effort of traveling there!
We took quite a few photos but my boyfriend thinks I look like a very handsome boy in all the photos so I shall just upload one. Sorry sexy Mel! Blame it on my bad bangs and I have been so annoyed by my hair I cannot wait for it to grow out.
Headed to Bugis after and realized the reason why I haven't been there in the longest time, is because of the amount of dust. Everytime I'm there, I start sniffling and my eyes become so watery and sore and my skin feels super dirty after.
Mel was hungry about 2.5hrs after we had brunch (hahahaha) so we had hotpot at this Chinese place called Hong Guo. And when I mean Chinese place, I mean Chinese place. I was ready to throw my pot at everyone. They kinda messed up my special order too.
Spicy Beef Soup Set $15+
And yay Monday's over! Not that I did anything productive besides a few pages of Brain and Behavior notes.
