City Beach

School is killing me. Especially one particular module which involves Statistics. It's like secondary school Math; irrelevant. When did we ever need to find the Function of X when shopping or eating or waiting for the train?

Annoyances aside, more photos of happiness below.

Photos of police vehicles in every country is a must.
Even friends tag me in them when they travel HAHA

Dinner at Took Bae Kee was great

Especially nice if you have a cold

Merpeople sightings

Home sweet home

The next morning was super sunny and hot but we had pho for brunch anyway. This was at Wanneroo Market. Pretty oily so I prefer Lido in Chinatown.

Daddy's ukelele classes

So so so so so happy at that moment

Japanese bentos for dinner and home after. Was so tired because at this point, my flu was at its most horrible stage. Non-stop sniffling and using up packets of tissues. Then the face bloating started... UGH!

Life's better down under

Every experience is different.

My third trip visiting parents but still so refreshing. Maybe just being away from Singapore makes everything better.

Had so much authentic Asian food this time round. Told my parents honestly the main aim of my trip was to have pho, and not to visit them. They weren't surprised :') Had an extremely bad flu once I arrived but nothing food couldn't fix! Though I was so exhausted at the end of every day for the first week.

6 days is already very good

Super huge bowl of chicken noodle soup

LOL DAD

Introducing my new favorite place (besides Harbortown and Perth City), Kings Park!

Having flu really makes you tired. And it was so comfortable I fell asleep on Mommy's handmade picnic mat. Dad doesn't have an excuse to sleep.

IT WAS SO LOVELY HAVING AMAZINGLY GOOD PHO RIGHT AFTER. Best day of my life.

This restaurant is called Lido located in the Chinatown area. Super packed at night so I guess it's good we went at the time we did. The pho is so so so so so delicious. Also, I'm highly allergic to MSG so my body immediately reacts to food containing MSG. Usually the soup for pho would have MSG but I guess this one didn't have much or at all!

LOL DAD

Does anyone know where I could get Sriracha chilli sauce in Singapore? Please let me know, I'm desperate for it!

Hello

This is going to be one of those posts that go: Hello, I'm just here to say I'm busy so bye!

So obnoxious. Anyway, I'm leading a very fulfilling life in Australia even though I'm having a very bad bout of flu (which says a lot).

Mom just cooked steak for dinner so I'm off now. Ttyl all you lovely people still bothering to read!

Casual

Outfits

Those were my casual running-around-Singapore-madly-running-errands outfits. Whenever I see style blogs, it seems as though it is possible to go around the city wearing 6 inch heels running errands. How do people do that? And there's always a professional photographer around to take photos of them looking fabulous while running errands. I am such a commoner.

Been so busy trying to fix everything in the house before CNY, and all the beauty appointments I'm trying to squeeze into these couple of weeks. I've fixed kitchen sink pipes, oiled all the creaking doors, switched out lightbulbs, continuously stocked the fridge with wet market groceries (this means getting up earlier than I want to), and all other gross household stuff nobody except professionals should ever have to do.

My skin has been horrible lately due to lack of sleep because I'm so into Rizzoli and Isles currently. Gahhh I'm not ready for CNY!

Looking totally gorgeous while baking almond cookies

Saw this at Cold Storage and sent the photo to Anna. She thought it was a deity figurine of some sort. Would anyone dare to cut open this 财神爷 (God of Wealth) to get to the 年糕 (sweet glutinous cake) in it?!

Been having this Red Rice Wine Noodles when I go for appointments at Novena. It's located in the food court of Velocity, the stall selling Banmian. Love it so much! Not exactly the tastiest I've had but this is better than nothing.

Sneaky girl trying to get our attention when we go out/come home

Bug-eyed sisters

Darren sent me this, which I think is meaningful for anyone who needs a boost of spirit. Think he saw it on Instagram or something so credits to whoever made this! It may seem stupid/insignificant but I think we all have to remember this at some down point in our lives when everything feels horrible and bad.

At least I know some parts of it is true for me. Happy Monday!
