Days of Christmas '12

I've one last essay due next week but instead of working on it, I would prefer to update this space with Christmas photos. I seriously dislike festive seasons because it just means crowds of people being out and about all at once and it's not a fun time. But Christmas is different because it's that time of the year you can go crazy shopping and show your loved ones just how much you love them. You get to shower them with gifts and see how happy they are to receive them. And of course the amount of food you get to eat.

Usually my parents host Christmas parties every year for the entire clan. There would be roasted lamb, beef, ham, meat, meat, meat. I miss my parents! Well because they're not around this year, I just had Christmas dinner with my sister and Skyped with my parents so it's like we were eating together.

Just like last year, I had a Christmas steamie dinner with dear friends. This time round there were more people. Yay!

After dinner, we decided to find somewhere to play Left 4 Dead. Seriously hate 'spawning' which means playing the ugly zombies, so I took photos of the intense gaming that was going on.

Christmas Date

It's very seldom Darren and I go on dates because he's so busy, so I really appreciate it when we're able to even just have dinner together. Though it's after work and he's still in workout gear and carrying that annoyingly huge backpack.

That red paper bag contained all the new clothes I bought in the span of a few days. I know I need to stop. And the rest of the bags were Christmas gifts all wrapped up. I love Christmas!!!

Christmas Day

Darren and I had a quick bite before dinner time. He was having dinner with his family and I had to go home to cook. Settled on Swensen's because it was crowded everywhere and I seriously hate Swensen's. Anna and I actually met up for a Christmas meal there as well (for convenience) and the food was rubbish. They also removed hazelnut ice-cream off the menu. Why?!

Flavors of Sundae

Happy 2013 you guys! I hope each and every one of you had an amazing time no matter what you were doing for countdown and I sincerely hope nothing but the best happens for you guys this year. If you think that's being too ambitious, then I still wish this year would be tons better from the last.

I had an awesome NYE celebration. Been super spoiled from Nov-Dec with all the shopping and food I got to have with the excuse of 'festive season'. The amount of clothes I've accumulated is pretty darn crazy and the amount of food I've eaten, let's not even go there.

There's no better way to start the first entry of 2013, than with photos of Sexy Sundae. She has been the cutest dog ever and we love her more and more with every passing moment. (Maybe not so much when she destroys stuff okay just kidding.)

I usually Whatsapp these photos to a group chat with my family and my dad's like why is this dog's lifestyle so relaxed. Aren't dogs supposed to be constantly up and about and basically, active? Then mommy would say that she probably learned it from me and my sister would agree and bottom line is that it's my fault. Life is never fair.

I'm wondering if I should still film videos... Actually wanted to film a huge haul with the amount of clothes I have but I don't think anyone would be interested. This is of course based on view counts of my videos so far :( Shall see how it goes.

The outlet we went to is the one in Bishan. Usually I'd be doing recommendations by now but judging from my isolated food poisoning case, I'll skip that. Most people usually bring home their catch so it can be cleaned and cooked thoroughly so it's highly unlikely anyone would suffer the same fate I did. It was still a super fun first experience though!

Even if I do go again, I'll give away everything that I catch. The thrill of catching is the only fun thing for me now.
